Cannot Access Computer On Network Vista

What is the actual real-life speed of wireless networks ? Now, my AMD 64-bit and my laptop can see each other, but, they can not see the Dual Core. By default, Windows does not allow the File and Printer Sharing service access through the firewall, so you have to manually allow access.
Both my computers can see each other, but when I try to intstall a new printer on my laptop, my laptop cannot find the printer. My network is a mix of XP, Linux, and 98SE systems, plus a NAS drive. Please help! I checked everything I could think of.
I tried the tutorial and I am able to see the other computers on my network but one offending computer will not show itself to itself, nor can I see it Sometimes overzealous tweaking and tuning causes trouble. :) Most comprehensive checklist I've seen of a few pages. I can ping both of these computers from the Dual Core, but I cannot ping the Dual Core from either of the other two computers. Also I went through Dell since my printer is a Dell so you may want to unistall and install the printer drivers through your printers download webpage. All computers are using the basic Windows Firewall. The IP That Just Wouldn\'t Stick.
Share Permissions set to Full Control for Everyone and there are no third party firewalls installed. A better solution is to get a printer with networking capabilities. Set Vista Share Settings On the Vista machine we need to double check and make sure it’s sharing settings are ready to go. Apparantely all drivers should be vista in order for it to work flawlessly.
I can see each computer, and I can open the ‘Public' folders on each machine from the other respective machine, but I cannot open other files despite them being shared, and PLEHRER says: 8 years ago I have followed all instructions in your very clearn note. Windows firewall has Network discovery, File Sharing, Public Folder Sharing and Printer Sharing enabled.
