A: Your files will not be lost. Right-click Safely Remove Hardware icon in System Tray (icon with green arrow), select Safely Remove Hardware and proceed to Stop your USB device. I added and deleted contacts from both my iPhone 5S and Outlook and did the sync with the error message but the contact addition and subtraction still happened. You do not need it anyway, as you use GoodSync to sync files, which replaces Windows Offline folders. As I am totally dependent upon Outlook for scheduling, as as Apple seems disinclined to fix this in a timely fashion, I'm now in the process of examining alternatives to the Q: How can I recover lost GoodSync Connect password? Or at least, mine did.
