I modifed the more simple batch file. Delete all entries in the Outlook Secure Temp Folder and close all open Windows Close/Open Outlook and you should now be able to open the attachment from Outlook. ←Back to Knowledge Base But I would really like to know the cause and have a permanent fix. GarethPenk mentions the use of CCleaner, a cleanup tool I've seen used in many cases. But I have always used CCLEANER.com (portable version for no install) to clean out the temporary files on the users computers.
